For employers
A scoped onsite programme, defined responsibilities, minimal operational disruption and an aggregate, de-identified outcome report.
neevan is an early-stage initiative developing an institution-led vision-screening and care-coordination service for workplaces in India. Our proposed pilot model is intended to combine established portable technology, qualified eye-care professionals, referral and eyewear pathways, and outcome-focused reporting.
neevan is currently validating its operating model and partnerships. We do not claim proprietary diagnostic hardware, proprietary clinical AI, autonomous diagnosis, or guaranteed clinical or economic outcomes.
The first product
One site. One defined workforce. One workflow approved with clinical partners before deployment. One completion report.
Workplace-first validation
The aim is to learn whether a safe, convenient screening-to-care programme can create value for employees and institutions at repeatable economics.
A scoped onsite programme, defined responsibilities, minimal operational disruption and an aggregate, de-identified outcome report.
Convenient access, clear communication, qualified review and a supported pathway to appropriate correction or further care.
Defined clinical ownership, documented escalation, quality controls and no suggestion that screening replaces comprehensive eye examination.
Clinical governance
The exact workflow, device scope, operator requirements and escalation rules will be approved with qualified India-based clinical and regulatory advisers before a public pilot.
Approved measurements within the selected device's intended use.
Qualified clinical interpretation where the protocol requires it.
Clear routine, additional-assessment or urgent referral pathway.
Prescription and eyewear only through appropriately authorized partners.
Completion tracking, exceptions and patient communication.
How we are building
neevan is deliberately starting with partners and a narrow service model. We will build proprietary software or technology only after real deployments show what is necessary and valuable.
Prove demand and willingness to pay first.
Measure whether people reach correction or referral.
Minimize data and separate individual care from employer reporting.
No fleet or custom platform before repeatability.
Our validation sequence
Evidence used responsibly
Research shows that correcting vision can improve work outcomes in specific populations. For example, the PROSPER randomized trial studied near-vision glasses among tea workers aged 40 and older in Assam. That result supports the importance of workplace access—but it does not prove the same effect for every occupation, workforce or neevan pilot.
neevan will not promise productivity gains. Where appropriate and agreed with customers, pilots may measure relevant operational or experience outcomes using defensible baselines.

No. neevan is currently designing a service using established third-party technology. The exact device and software combination will be selected only after commercial, clinical and regulatory diligence.
No. Screening identifies people who may benefit from correction or further assessment. The final protocol will distinguish measurement, screening, clinical interpretation, prescription, referral and treatment.
neevan is evaluating established portable vision-screening and assessment technologies. The final device and software configuration will be selected only after commercial, clinical, regulatory, data-security and workflow diligence has been completed.
Turnaround will depend on prescription complexity, the contracted optical partner, quality checks and site logistics. A service level will be offered only after partner capability has been verified.
The default model is aggregate, de-identified programme reporting. Individual clinical information should not be shared with an employer unless a specific lawful and ethical basis applies.
neevan is seeking paid or sponsored pilots. Scope and pricing will be based on the site, population, selected technology, clinical requirements, travel and fulfilment model.
Pilot conversations are open
We want to speak with Indian employers, occupational-health teams, qualified eye-care professionals, technology partners and optical fulfilment providers. An enquiry starts a discovery conversation—it is not a promise of immediate deployment.
